We work hard to save teeth, but sometimes removal is the right answer — a tooth too damaged to restore, advanced gum disease, a severe fracture, or crowding. When that's the case, a careful extraction relieves the problem and sets up the next step.
Most extractions are straightforward and done comfortably under local anesthetic. We also plan ahead for replacement — an implant, bridge, or partial — so the gap doesn't cause neighboring teeth to drift.
